Did you visit Livegamer lately? The prices on plat have dropped to the ridiculous, but apparently, certain things still sell decently. One of them being stacks of Smuggler’s Den Special Reserve Rum. It is an heirloom item that drops in Battlegrounds. How do people put it up for sale then? Simple. They sell a low toon that has the item on them Zam link to Smuggler’s Den Special Reserve Rum.
Personally, I haven’t checked out Battlegrounds yet, they are still squishing all those bugs that came with it.

Ya know, I do try to find groups. It is not so much an issue with the shadowknight, but it is more of an issue with the brigand (who is now going on 76 btw). Why there are so few people looking the in game lfg tool I still don’t really understand. True, most people don’t use it, so asking in chat might be a quicker response. However, what is wrong with asking in chat as well as use the in game lfg tool? I know at least for me, when I try to look for a group, or try to find more people for a group, the first place I look is that tool. I think it would make it easier for people to find a group if more people used it.
Something I do think they should implement in the game is that general guildhall thing they had in EQ1. I’m talking about the hall where you could go click on a board to see what guilds were looking for more and what levels, classes etc.

I hope they got rid of the system welcome message they had for the past couple of days, it says about the Neriak Festival going on until March 7th… tad late, eh? Anyways, so today Brew day went live and well one couldn’t get into the zone but there was a system message they would have it fixed by 10:30 (PST, EST I don’t remember, sorry), and nothing about a patch. Strange, I thought as I kept adventuring in Norrath… then later, “servers coming down for a brief update, etc…”. Lovely, huh. Alright, here are the patch notes:
GENERAL
Wild Swings will now persist through death.
The switches that open and close doors and barriers on the Vigilant: Final Destruction should now function on PvP servers.
Killing several Dreadnaught guards in South Freeport will now cause them to learn some respect. The same applies to Thexians in North Freeport.
BATTLEGROUNDS
Effects that can only be obtained on PVP Servers will no longer work in Battlegrounds.
ITEMS
All raid dropped armor now has red adornment slots.
Critical Mitigation on many raid dropped armor pieces have been changed to be more in line with TSO numbers.
Many of the high tier armor sets have been renamed to reduce confusion.
Brellium resist jewelry items have been improved.
All raid dropped jewelry now has resists.
Many raid drop weapons and jewelry items have had additional effects added.
Some of Waansu’s items have had class restrictions added.
QUESTS
The quest “Swiping Scrolls” can once again be successfully completed.
The quest “Shroom Prune” now updates off of killing Coercer Pittles and Shroombis the Coerced.
PERAH’CELSIS ABONIMABLE LABORATORY
Waansu should no longer appear inside a test tube if he has spawned as an encounter.
Hm, me thinks me take me shadowknight and beat up some guards that need a talking to!
Waansu inside a test tube? What a sight! Bah, I missed it lol.

Well, I figured Tuesday is a good weekday as any to write about a particular zone. Whether it be South Freeport, Qeynos Harbor, Kelethin or Stonebrunt Highlands, or whatever other zone one could think of. Will I be able to keep up the habit or will I suddenly write something else on a Tuesday? Probably (either way). This iksar is used to multi-tasking but real life can get busy as we all know.
So what zone for today? Fens of Nathsar… why? I happened to be leveling my brigand there today. It is a good solo zone for him (I try to find groups, but rarely find any at the times I play). He’s 74 now and being a brigand he would do better not having to tank stuff, but he does fairly well at soloing nonetheless. Fens has lots of quests (I think I’m down to about 12 quests now from about 30 or more). The daily tradeskill tasks they have now (2k plus faction for Riliss for one of them, 2k for Bathezeid’s Watch (Did I spell that right…)) are nice but I realized today that wait they are grey!!! (The daily tradeskill task is level 70, and my brigand is an 81 carpenter, so they just turned grey). Fishing isn’t the most wonderful thing one can spend one’s time on in any Norrathian zone, but Fens, I still have yet to find a good (=safe for lower toons) fishing spot there.
