Well, I figured Tuesday is a good weekday as any to write about a particular zone. Whether it be South Freeport, Qeynos Harbor, Kelethin or Stonebrunt Highlands, or whatever other zone one could think of. Will I be able to keep up the habit or will I suddenly write something else on a Tuesday? Probably (either way). This iksar is used to multi-tasking but real life can get busy as we all know.

So what zone for today? Fens of Nathsar… why? I happened to be leveling my brigand there today. It is a good solo zone for him (I try to find groups, but rarely find any at the times I play). He’s 74 now and being a brigand he would do better not having to tank stuff, but he does fairly well at soloing nonetheless. Fens has lots of quests (I think I’m down to about 12 quests now from about 30 or more). The daily tradeskill tasks they have now (2k plus faction for Riliss for one of them, 2k for Bathezeid’s Watch (Did I spell that right…)) are nice but I realized today that wait they are grey!!! (The daily tradeskill task is level 70, and my brigand is an 81 carpenter, so they just turned grey). Fishing isn’t the most wonderful thing one can spend one’s time on in any Norrathian zone, but Fens, I still have yet to find a good (=safe for lower toons) fishing spot there.

Ya know, I haven’t logged into that once, but earlier today I zoned out of our guildhall with my brigand into South Freeport of all places! What is the message I get? Your AAs have been reset… Oh what… alright so I go to see and reset them. That would have been interesting, it said I had NO expansions (yes all the tab pages said I did not have the required expansions). Grr… so I try to zone to Temple Street which did nothing. Alright, what about go to camp screen? Hm boot to log in screen. Okay then, petition… because although the camping to character screen (turned out to be to log in screen instead) helped get rid of the “you have no expansions”, the AAs were still messed up.

Patch after patch after patch? First people lose experience and get their AAs reset, then it messes up their research assistant, then what?
There are so many patches lately, and I’m thinking they are mainly due to the implementation of Battlegrounds.

Yup, it’s about that time again when the city festival has returned and should stay for about a week. It really would be nice if they would make a system announcement the first day of the festival and where it was, but I guess that’s not really necessary. It would be nice though. Found some pretty neat items, the theme here seems to be the color blue. So if you like blue (um or blue-green more like it), head on over to outside Neriak and spend your city tokens. As for this month’s collection, I actually so far didn’t find any purple shinies at all. I ran around Neriak being the only player and there were still no shinies… ran around outside Neriak and unless the other player that was there was picking up the only available shiny there was (and standing in one spot mind you), I didn’t find any. I know they gotta be out there, I just didn’t find any yet.
